Song Choice
The song I decided to go along with was called 'scouting for girls- she's so lovely' I chose this son because it up lifting and upbeat and has a happy atmosphere to it which could relate to my advert as it happy as she is going out for the night, to enjoy herself. This song lyrics I felt related well as well because when I heard the song I knew I could develop and adapt my advert shots to the beat of the song.

Market Research
I created this survey so I could gather so feedback on what people actually thought about adverts.
Story Board
These are some shots of my storyboard which I created so i could follow a step by step process of what to do when filming. This became very helpful as in the planning my Advert process i made small notes at the bottom of the boxes stating which shot to use and what props i needed in that particular shot. This helped me in the filming and editing part as i knew what I originally developed my idea from and I could change it if I felt possible.
Having a storyboard helped develop my idea more as I kept going back to it while planning, filming and editing seeing if i needed to make any improvements or if I got slightly confused in what i was doing so i looked back at my storyboard to get back on track.

Brainstorming
This is where I listed and brain stormed ideas that I needed to consider for my advert such as locations and props. Considering different strategies I could use also considering different shots and wrote them down as a reminder of what I needed to accomplish.

New advert idea (storyoutline)
The song i have decided to use in my TV advert is 'she's so lovely' by scouting for girls. This is a very girly and positive upbeat song that fits and relates well with my chosen idea.
While the beats of the song at the beginning use different shots of things in the bedroom. Representing who the bedroom belongs to and the character she is. Use approximately 5 secs of each shot merged together. Film shots such as:
Jewelry
Make up
Hair brushes
Hair products
Teddies
Photos
When the lyrics start, walk into the room does her make up (use close ups and panning shots)
The beats in the song at 0:38 each beat move a hanger from the wardrobe to fit in with the music. Shots of the girl in each outfit (using loads of fast cuts throughout) "I don't know" when the song starts this section change to shots of putting shoes on and putting on her earrings. Then she walks to her dressing table picks up the perfume and puts it into her bag then walks out of the room and shuts the light. Back to the chorus - shots of the perfume voice over saying frangrance by______ .

TV advert idea
My idea for my TV advertisement is a perfume advert. i want to promote a new perfume from a new range. The perfumes i have decided to re brand and use are the apple DNKY perfumes. I have decided to change their original theme of apples into candy and sweets and the bright colours represent happiness and a positive atmosphere. The advert will include loads of fast cuts and brightness. The song I have chose for the background is Christina Aguilera 'candy man' which fits in well with my theme of candy and sweets. The target audience I am trying to appeal to is teenage girls as they will appeal more to this theme of music and style of promotion. I will rebrand the name of the product entirely to give it a new image.
